This guy that goes to my school. Pronounced (Oz – bald – oh ) Sorry for not using the fancy pronunciation thing, thats too much effort.

Wasn’t this the name of a character in one of those pretentious art-house type cartoons(Looked kind of like the Schmoo with a mustache and glasses?) That’s a mean thing for art-snobs to name their kids.

Just thought I’d warn you before the shit-storm comes. It’s Spanish and Portuguese for Oswald. I know, it was probably named by some dumb-ass redneck who didn’t know that or some snob who did and wanted to be superior to the plebeians. But you’re still probably going to catch shit from non-Americans.

Thanks, Johnny! I get lots of foreigners who get on their high horse about names that work for them. This site is by an American and regarding American kids. Maybe Steve or Rick or Larry are shit names in Spain – and I’m okay with that.

Um…it’s actually supposed to be spelled “OSVALDO” and it’s the Hispanic variant of Oswald. At least ours sounds hot. Not like some acid spun character on crack.
