I guess Erica is just too fucking “normal” these days. ¬†Sigh…

The thing with names like Aerica and Aerin is that these names don’t even make sense outside of the midwest or south. In the rest of the English speaking world, Erica is pronounced “eh-rick-ah”, and Erin is pronounced “eh-rin”. So when people name their kids Aeryca, they’re forcing people to pronounce the kid’s name with an unnatural accent. These names are probably the most annoying of all!

Um…I (and everyone I know, including 2 Erica’s and 1 Erin) pronouce the names “Air-ica” and “Air-in”, not Ay (“Ay-rica”? That’s just weird…). I don’t know what you’re talking about, Amanda…

Congratulations, you strange named fuck. You’ve just revealed to yourself that you’ve never left your white-trash hillbilly hometown in the middle of the bible belt. Nobody in the smart parts of America says “Air-ica.”

Also, you completely changed what Amanda said about prononuciation. Eh and Ay are two different sounds.

Midwest here…Erin & Erica are pronounced Air-in & Air-uh-cuh, but not just here. Every I’ve been all over the U.S. And the world. But Aeren & Aeryca/Aerycha/Airwrecka are just awful.
