Look, I know that this name was rather popular in the past, and I also know that it has some bullshit religious connotation. ┬áBut that was probably before the terms “dorkus” and “dork” became heavy ammunition in verbal playground warfare. ┬áThese days, naming a kid Dorcas is about akin to sticking a permanent “kick me” sign right on her fucking forehead.

Another old, traditional name that should be left alone!

Should be left alone? I totally agree. Leave it alone. Don’t ever use it or bring it up again.

How will this individual ever be able to get a job?

Ha! I actually met a Dorcas. I rented her a car, legit, saw her license and her credit card. First thing I thought was the Simpsons when Bart told Lisa her scientific name is ‘dorkus malorcus’
