I have run across many a canine named Princess. I have also heard many children called Princess as a ridiculous, ego-inflating nickname. But I believe this is the first time that I have actually read about a girl whose real name is Princess.
But wait — it gets better. You see, Princess is a twin. And as you may have guessed in the split second since I told you she was a twin, her twin sister has a ridiculous name too. Even more ridiculous than Princess in fact. You see, her twin sister’s name is…wait for it…Queen. Yep — Queen and Princess.
I wonder if Princess will have an inferiority complex when she’s old enough to understand that a Queen ranks higher than a Princess. And isn’t a Princess usually the daughter of a Queen?
Put to rest this incestuous, monarchical nameset!
